Hi, Anyone know of a good gaming keyboard with a Mac layout that is equally functional on a PC partition? Got a Razer Anansi (Mac) to compliment a Naga MMO mouse but found that many of the function/media keys didn't work while running windows. From what I've seen I would have to get a PC-style keyboard that has drivers/software for both PC and MacOS. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. Hi, Bethesda just announced a new Wolfenstein game for PC, 360, PS3, and next-gen consoles. Seeing that it'll be developed by MachineGames, another subsidiary of ZeniMax, and they haven't mentioned any direct involvement by id, I'm guessing a Mac native version isn't a development target. The game does seem to be running on id Tech 5 though since that's what ZeniMax said MachineGames will be working on when they acquired them, so you'd think Mac support wouldn't be too much additional effort. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References www.insidemacgames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=45173Animated Business Whiteboard Video

Hi, I managed to get noticed for a job for a small developer and I had to do a code test. It went smoothly and they have asked me to come in for a face to face interview. I am really not sure what to expect, should I continue to "study" incase they ask me some question or have I gotten past that stage that they now know I am a good engineer and are just seeing if I will work well with them? I'm sure I will handle anything that is thrown at me , but it would be good to get advice on whether or not I should continue to brush up on low level c++ features or focus on standard interview questions like "Why you want to work with us? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References www.gamedev.net/forums/topic/649113-got-through-code-test-phase-whats-next/startup explainer videos

Hello all! I'm very frustrated at the moment and I'd really appreciate some advice. I left my job in IT to finish off my visual novel in the hopes it'd secure me a place in the industry. Now I'm very happy with the final product (trailer) and I'm also happy to report it's being well-received (example) - I've been applying like mad to major and indie studios for around a month now and haven't really gotten anywhere. I send a modified cover letter to every studio I come across as well as my CV, following up roles I'm particularly interested in with a phone call - so I feel like I'm doing everything I can yet I'm not getting any further than I was a few years ago. The two things I'm thinking are that employers aren't taking the time to actually look at my portfolio and that I need to think of other methods apart from just sending round my CV/portfolio. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much! Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. Hi, I have a choice to make. I'm split between the largest two career paths in the game industry. Game Programming and Game Design. To program, or to design. That is the question. Obviously, the choice comes down to me. And through all the research I've done on both careers, I'm torn. I want to program, but I want to design. I want to be able to create the AI that the game runs and to create the physics engine from the ground up, the way I want it. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. Hi, Since the new update, every time I launch HS, it says that it has been updated and to download the latest version. I tap to update which takes me to the Google Play Store. The only two options I have is to Uninstall or Open. There is no button for Update. I have already tried to uninstall/reinstall, but still encounter the same issue. I am using a Galaxy S7, Android v6.0.1 Anybody else having similar issues? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. Hi, Having difficulty playing hearthstone on my iPhone. This is the platform I normally use (iPhone 7 iOS v11.0.3), and for the past 1 hour, I've gotten an error when trying to launch the application that says I was disconnected and that I need to update my app via the app store. I am redirected to the app store where, alas, there are no updates for hearthstone. I force quit all my applications and then reentered the app store to see if it would populate when refreshed, and again, no update for hearthstone. I deleted hearthstone from my phone and then restarted my device and reinstalled hearthstone, and I'm getting the same issue being told I need to update hearthstone in the app store. Whats the deal? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References us.battle.net/forums/en/hearthstone/topic/20759271241animated corporate promotional video

Hi, Since the Ungoro patch this is how every game-end screen looks for me, doesn't matter if i win or lose. Also the performance has degreded a lot, since i have an high-end tablet it's quite surprising to see a lot of slow animations and audio stutter from this game. The App was installed through the Amazon store, which i completele deleted and then reinstalled through google apps. Still the same bug. Please help. Thanks! Hi, I have a MAME racing cabinet in a converted Pole Position cabinet. It's having problems, so I want to convert it to an NeS cabinet. The "monitor" is removed from its casing. Appears to be vga into the back of a Dell computer. I bought a $20 Composite to VGA converter. I tried to plug my nes into the converter and into the monitor. It works, but the color is off. I have these scrolling (bottom to top) horizontal lines that are rainbow colored. The monitor works when hooked up to the Dell. Any advice? Please help. Thanks! Hi, I am working on a project to build an NES arcade cabinet. I will be using an Everdrive. Currently the cabinet is wired so that simply flipping the cabinet power switch turns on the monitor and NES. I would like the be able to "RESET" back to my Everdrive main menu without having to open the coin door. I assume it would be easy to wire a momentary push button switch to my control panel. Any advice? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References atariage.com/forums/topic/271846-requiring-an-nes-reset-button/Corporate Video Explainer

Hi, I'm curious to hear what other people do to keep track of their high scores on old games. I've been playing a lot of Atari 2600 and Colecovision as of late, and I've been trying to figure out a good system. Right now I just take a picture of the screen with my phone which worked well at first, that is until the number or pictures increased and I had to dig through the old ones to see if the score was beaten. I might just go back to old way of just righting them down on a piece of paper though it would probably get lost eventually. Maybe there's a database app or something that would make it easier? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References atariage.com/forums/topic/271597-keeping-track-of-your-high-scores/Video Animation For Business

Hi, The only thing I want for Christmas this year is a music program that can run on Windows 8.1. I don't know the first thing about this kind of thing. I need advice. What music writing software can make 8-bit NES music, 16-bit Genesis music and dubstep? I'd also appreciate if it has a comprehensive piano roll screen. I can't read music, but I know what notes sound good together. I don't plan to get famous by any means, I just plan to dabble. I need something to tell my mom to get me so she thinks she's fulfilled her "obligation". I have always wanted a music writing program, and this is the only thing I do not yet have/only thing I really want this year. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
