Hi, In my role as Network Admin at several companies we have used PCs and Servers to run server software, but only use a PC as a server if it's going to be used for testing or as a redundant server for the "real" server. If you are going to be using the equipment as the only server your company has, I definately recommend you get the real server hardware - it will pay off in the long run. There is a huge difference between server and your PC. Server has control over other clients in the group, so you can access the other computer from server itself. But not in the case of your personal computer. If I load all my software to a dedicated server can I access the software from my PC and laptop ? What is the difference between Dedicated server and VPS? Please Help. Thanks, for more you can check: Reference:http://www.fishing.net.nz/forum/ B2B Advertising Examples
